General information
1. Generally Saturdays are earmarked for parents programmes. Intimation about the same will be given in advance.
2. Punctuality to school will be strictly monitored. Late comers will not be allowed to attend classes.
3. Leave of absence beyond 3 days needs a prior approval from the Principal. Absence for a period beyond a week should be supported by a proper medical certificate.
4. No student is allowed to leave the school campus during the school hours.
5. Parents are not allowed to visit the students during the class hours.
6. Parents can meet the principal between 09:00 am to 10:00 am and the class teacher during lunch break and open day.
Uniform
The students should wear only the prescribed uniforms as instructed. The uniforms should be clean and well ironed and the shoes should be well polished. The hair should be kept clean and proper hair cut.T he nails should be trimmed. The children should not wear flowers, jewellery, bangles or anklets, any ornaments. Uniform measurements will be taken on specified dates. Please confirm the dates from the school office.
Expectation from Parents
Parents are requested to extend cooperation of highest order to the school by: Spending adequate time with the child, Sending the child to school on time, Maintaining regularity in attendance, Sharing their expertise in their areas of specialization, Writing valuable suggestions in the “Suggestions Register “, Paying fees on time.
Curriculum and Books
1. The Institution will follow the CBSE Syllabus and books for the same will be supplied by the school. Apart from English & Tamil, Hindi will also be taught as third language.
2. Additional and supportive books will be included as and when necessary.
3. The medium of instruction as well as the medium of conversation inside the campus is English.
4. The focus being on ‘Activity Based Learning’, the students are expected to actively participate in the class activities and field work. Parents should provide encouragement and necessary support in this matter.
5. Adequate avenues would be provided for games, co curricular activities and physical education.
6. The management does not intend to burden the students with loads of homework. The homework will be limited and scheduled as per the academic plan.
7. Three mid term assessments and three terminal assessments will be conducted in every academic year.
8. Student should appear all the examinations without fail, henceforth management will not entertain the student to appear for the reexamination.
